Job Description

As a Data Analyst Intern at Cynaris Solutions, you will work with structured and unstructured datasets, build analytical reports, and create dashboards that help business and product teams make smarter decisions. You will learn to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights.

This is a hybrid internship — two days per week at our Bengaluru office, rest from home. All project details, instructions, and timelines will be shared via official email after onboarding.

What You Will Work On

Analyse business datasets and extract meaningful patterns and trends
Build interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio
Write SQL queries to extract, filter, and aggregate data from databases
Work with Python (Pandas) for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis
Present findings clearly in structured reports for stakeholder review

Roles & Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from multiple internal and external sources
Build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to surface actionable business insights
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical deliverables
Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
Assist in automating recurring reports and data pipelines to improve team efficiency
Document data definitions, metrics, and methodology for internal knowledge repositories

Requirements

Pursuing B.Tech / BCA / BBA / BCom or a related degree
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel â€” formulas, pivot tables, charts
Basic understanding of SQL for data querying and filtering
Interest in or exposure to data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio)
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must have a personal laptop to work on
